Part III: The Trinity Unveiled-Origin of the Virgin and Child

joseph earnest

Nimrod is depicted as a mighty hunter. The sun god Ra is shown with a sphere representing the sun, while to the far right is Isis and her child Horus. Isis is also called the Queen of Heaven.  She is shown with a crescent moon that forms the shape of horns, and between the horns is the sun. Below Isis is the "all-seeing eye" of the sun god Ra, celebrated by Luciferians and Satanists.

Newscast Media HOUSTON, TexasWe continue to tackle the claims that Christianity is an offshoot of pagan worship. Worshippers of pagan idols claim the concept of the Holy Trinity was derived from the pagan trinity Ra, Amun and Ptah. They then claim that the concept of worshipping Jesus Christ as the Son of God was stolen from the pagan concept of sun worship—the Christian Son being Jesus Christ, while the pagan sun god is Ra.

The third claim we will look at is that the concept of the Madonna and Child celebrated in Christianity is a derivative of the pagan goddess named Isis (Semiramis in Babylon) and her child Horus (Tammuz in Babylon). While Isis was the wife of Osiris, who conceived Horus, Semiramis claimed she conceived her child Tammuz miraculously from the sun rays.  In Christianity, the Virgin Mary conceives a Son miraculously by the Holy Spirit. Horus and Ra merged into one god and both are depicted as falcons with a sun disc above their heads.

For these claims to be valid we will need to show that it was indeed pagans who invented these religions and concepts that were later on blended with Christianity. There is a mention of Tammuz in scripture. Pagans believed that Tammuz was the reincarnation of Nimrod, since he too was a mighty hunter. Upon his death, the women wept for him continuously which displeased God.

The prophet Ezekiel captures God's reaction here: "So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the Lord's house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.  Then He said to me, "Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, you will see greater abominations than these."" Ezekiel 8:14-15

(ii) Unveiling The Truth About The TrinityThe Christian Argument

The Trinity is a theological term that represents the threefold state of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spiritjust as you have a tri-state area in which three states meet together at the same geographical region.

While pagans claim they invented the concept of the Trinity we find that the Trinity existed before anything was created. The Original 1611 King James Bible in John Chapter one verse one says:

Verse 1: In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, and the Word was God. This tells us that Word existed before anything was created, but also this Word was with God.

Verse 2: The same was in the beginning with God. We learn that there is no difference between the Word (logos) and God the Fatherthey are One.

Verse 3: All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. Since all things were made by the Word, this Word is responsible for the creation of everything that exists.

Verse 14: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (& we beheld his glory, the glory as of the onely begotten of the Father) full of grace and trueth.

The verse indicates that the Word  manifested itself as a human being and lived among humans.  It is safe to say this verse is referring to Jesus Christ. See below:

In this 1611 King James Version Iohn is John. Onely is only. Trueth is truth. They spelled words differently then.

In order for the Trinity's existence before creation to be a valid argument, we must identify God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, before creation. The book of Genesis chapter one does that:  Gen 1:1-2

"In the beginning God (God the Father) created the heavens and the earth.  Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God (God the Holy Spirit) was hovering over the waters."

The first two verses identify God the Father and the Holy Spirit.  We now have to identify God the Son, for the Holy Trinity to be complete.  Remember, John's gospel identifies Jesus Christ as the "Word that became flesh and dwelt among us."

Genesis chapter one verse three says: "And God said..."  When you say something, what is it you speak? Words.  If the Word was God, and all things were created by the Word that dwelt among us, we can identify Jesus Christ in the phrase:          "And God said..." and also the subsequent words, "Let there be light."

Breakdown of Trinity in creation: God's Spirit (God the Holy Spirit) was hovering over the waters, and God the Father created the universe by speaking His Word (God the Son) causing whatever was spoken to come into existence. The same God, but three different aspects of HimThe Speaker (Father) the Hoverer (Spirit) and the Word (Son).

Since we have identified the threefold state of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the first three verses of Genesis chapter one, we conclude, that it is not the Christians who stole the concept of the Trinity from pagans, it is the pagans who plagiarized the concept from God Himself, in an effort to plant seeds of doubt into Christians who would emerge after the Word became flesh. Christians could not have stolen this concept from pagans, since the Trinity was in existence before God ever created humans, who then invented religion.

Accordingly, the claim by pagans that the idea of the Trinity was borrowed from them by Christians may not be considered, and must be rejected.

Continue to Part IV to find out if Christians can debunk the idea that they are imitating pagan symbolism in the Madonna and child>>
