Public trusts Facebook and Apple more than the media by Joseph Ernest June 24, 2010
Newscast Media -- A recent Zogby Interactive study show that the majority of American adults trust social networks than they do the mainstream media. Among other companies that were included in the survey, Microsoft and Google were trusted more, and Apple was the most trusted company.
The study showed that 88 percent of adults trusted the traditional media little or not at all. Only eight percent of adults said they trusted the media.
The implication of this Zogby Interactive study should serve as a wake up call to the media in the way news content is presented to audiences. Apple leads as the most trusted company with 41 percent among ages 18-29, and 49 percent among adults. Add Comments >>
