Microsoft's Internet Phone Service Skype v6.3--What's new?

Newscast Media REDMOND, Washington—Skype is the Internet phone service that allows people to make calls free of charge, anywhere in the world, as long as callers have Skype installed on their computers. With a web cam, callers can also see each other and record the videos of the conversations in real time. This is especially handy for those in the military who wish to see their loved ones, journalists sharing video footage, inter and intra-continental tele-conferencing or travelers touring different parts of the world.

this year, Microsoft integrated Skype and Outlook to display contacts' online status, contact information and mood message within the Outlook contact card.
When you want to call someone on their mobile or
landline from Outlook, Skype will initiate the call for you. You can
call anyone as long as you have their contact information in Outlook,
but you don't need to be friends on Skype. |
