Owning the night: US and Australia Special Forces night war games

Newscast Media SYDNEY, Australia—What exactly do Special Operation Forces operators, also referred to as SOF operators, need to take down an enemy target? They make look easy. According to Marine Special Operations, the Green Berets, Navy SEALs, and Australia's very own Special Operation Forces, all they need is the target, a weapon and night vision goggles. But why night vision goggles? It's really quite simple...they own the night.
