Acquitted: Senate acquits The Donald in sham impeachment trial

Newscast Media WASHINGTON, D.C.—The United States Senate has just acquitted Donald Trump in a shamp impeachment trial, whose sole purpose was to prevent Trump from ever running for office again.
Democrats stated that Trump incited violence, therefore impeachment was warranted. However, the law is clear that someone who is no longer in office cannot be impeached.
Trump insisted that election was rigged for Joe Biden and on January 6, 2021 the Capitol building was breached, which Democrats blamed on Trump.
