Newscast Media WASHINGTON, D.C.—Chairwoman of the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Sen. Dianne Feinstein told reporters that the former CIA Director David Petraeus has agreed to testify to Congress about the Sept. 11 attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans. "He is very willing and interested in talking to the committee," she said. "It's just on Benghazi. Our hearings are on Benghazi and the intelligence that preceded Benghazi and the intelligence that determined security," she added. Senator Feinstein has decided the hearing will be closed to the media and the public, which is a good thing. The reason is because the media has been sitting on e-mails that have details about the Benghazi incident and are hiding the truth. Feinstein knows if she allows the media to attend the hearings, they will twist, distort and misinform the public about what really happened, since the role the media has undertaken is to suppress the truth. Dianne Feinstein has made a name for herself as the most efficient politician in America. She personally reads and answers every e-mail, letter or fax sent to her. No other politician has such a record, since the majority of people have a sense of self importance, which clouds their judgment. This is particularly true in the journalism profession. It it therefore fitting for Dianne Feinstein to do something the modern day media, frankly, is incapable of doing—digging for the truth. The closed-door hearings will focus on why the Obama administration allowed the ambassador to die and told the soldiers who wanted to help to stand down. John McCain is a bona fide patriot, and he is not letting this slide. He is the first one to suggest that there was a cover-up by this administration. (pop-up) Senator McCain has just cause to expose what happened in the Benghazi assassination not just because his fellow soldiers were killed, but because he has never forgotten the injustice that happened to him in 2008. (pop-up) While the mainstream media is more interested in the sensationalism of the story, the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence will not let such distractions hinder it from compiling a detailed report about what happened. We should expect some of the findings to be intentionally leaked to the "alternative media" since people trust it more than the mainstream media. Once alternative news platforms cover the story as it unfolds, the mainstream media will be forced to do its job; but if the information is damaging, there are spin doctors and apologists in the media who are disinformation agents giving the public 90 percent truth and 10 percent disinformation. Their calling is not to be media practitioners, because truth nauseates them. They only exist to create confusion, conflict and division, yet masquerade as media practitioners. Add Comments>>
