Newscast Media PHILADELPHIAFormer President Bill Clinton is known for blowing gaskets when challenged about his controversial policies, and this time he had a heated exchange when protesters interrupted his speech while campaigning for his wife Hillary.

The incident happened when protesters of Black Lives Matter suggested the Clinton should be charged with "crimes against humanity" for passing the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 also known as "three strikes" you're out bill.

Clinton tried to defend the bill, yet a year ago, he admitted that the bill he passed made things worse for the nation's criminal justice system.

"I signed a bill that made the problem worse," Clinton told an audience at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's annual meeting in Philadelphia in 2015. "And I want to admit it."

CNN reported that Clinton said, "In that bill, there were longer sentences. And most of these people are in prison under state law, but the federal law set a trend. And that was overdone. We were wrong about that. That percentage of it, we were wrong about. "

When protesters challenged him in Philly on the very bill he said he was wrong about, and Hillary's support of the bill, an angry Clinton yelled, "I don't know how you would characterize the gangleaders, who got 13-year-old kids, hopped up on crack, and sent them out onto the street, to murder other African American children...You are defending the  people who killed the lives you say matter."  Watch:

During Clinton's presidency, Hillary had referred to African Americans who had committed crimes as "super-predators" with no conscience or empathy. Those statements, together with the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 were what triggered the clashing of Clinton with Black Lives Matter activists.
