Iran To Send Aid To The Gaza Strip Joseph Ernest June 22, 2010
Newscast Media -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has scheduled delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip through Iran's Red Crescent Society. The Iranian vessel that will be carrying over 1,000 tons of supplies, will leave port Bandar Abbas and travel through the Suez Canal to its final destination Gaza.
Ahmadinejad is known for making controversial statements about Israel and doesn't recognize it as a nation.
Tel Aviv has not responded as to how they will handle the Iranian vessel as it approaches the Gaza Strip, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Gaza is already bountiful in food and medical supplies. (Add Comments)
