Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney was in Houston, Texas at the NAACP convention where he received a standing ovation, contrary to media reports. "My policy will be, number one, create jobs for the American people. I don't have a hidden agenda," Romney told the crowd. The convention took place at the George R. Brown convention center in downtown Houston.
