Obama Receives Letter of Reassurance From Medvedev About Russian Spies by Joseph Ernest July 5, 2010
Newscast Media -- Russian president Dmitry Medvedev sent a letter to Barack Obama coinciding with the July 4th celebrations, in which he assured Obama that, "Our constructive, neighborly relations make it futile to try to downplay the importance of our achievements". The letter is in response to the 11 Russians arrested for alleged spying.
Last week during a meeting with former president Bill Clinton, Russian Prime Minister Vladmir Putin accused U.S. authorities of going out of control. Both countries have been working hard to restore normal relations even though they can't reach a consensus on how to handle the Iran and North Korea nuclear programs. Add comments>>
