US Intel Committee: Russian meddling did not affect votes

us vote

by Joseph Earnest October 4, 2017

Newscast Media WASHINGTONThe US Intelligence Committee chief Richard Burr has said on Wednesday that the probe into alleged Russia's meddling into the 2016 US Presidential election has not come to a definitive conclusion, however no vote totals were affected.

"We have not come to any determination on collusion or Russia's preferences," Burr said.

Burr also said the committee does not have any initial findings on whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.

Washington has accused Russia of meddling in the November 8 election, with the US congressional investigators launching a probe into alleged interference.

Russia has repeatedly said it does not interfere in the affairs of other countries. Russian officials have called the US allegations of election meddling absurd and invented to deflect public attention from actual instances of revealed election fraud and corruption as well as other issues.  Add Comments>>
