Kathleen Sebelius becomes the sacrificial lamb for ObamaCare

Newscast Media WASHINGTON—Testifying before a House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing about complications with the Affordable Care Act enrollment website Wednesday, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius made herself the sacrificial lamb and took the blame for the technical problems that are plaguing ObamaCare.

"I am as frustrated and angry as anyone with the flawed launch of HealthCare.gov," Sebelius told the committee in an opening statement. She then spoke directly to Americans who were frustrated by their inability to sign up online by saying, "You deserve better. I apologize. I'm accountable to you for fixing these problems, and I'm committed to earning your confidence back by fixing the site."

By falling on her own sword, Sebelius may have earned the loyalty of Democrats for preventing them from getting entangled in the debacle, especially since the mid-term elections are occurring next year.

Two years ago Sebelius bragged about Electronic Health Care Records (EHRs):

"This will push our entire health care system forward," as she compared the advent of electronic health records to electronic banking. "Health information technology promises to bring that same transformation, convenience and reliability to the health care system," she said.

The Obama administration warned that health care providers, including doctors and hospitals, must establish "meaningful use" of EHRs by 2014 in order to qualify for federal subsidies. If they do not comply, they will risk getting penalized in the form of diminished Medicare and Medicaid payments. Under the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act of 2009, eligible health care professionals and hospitals can qualify for Medicare and Medicaid incentive payments when they adopt certified EHR technology.

By 2014, all Americans will be required to have electronic health records (EHR) which will include their height, weight, body mass index (BMI) and eventually all this information will be stored on a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chip, that can be embedded in card for the patient to carry in a wallet or purse.

To make the card unique and forgery-proof, biometrics like fingerprints, face and iris recognition information will be stored on the RFID chip. The fact that Sebelius compared EHR technology to electronic banking, suggests that the chip may even hold personal financial records to determine what kind of health care a patient can afford.  It can also be used to conduct an instant credit check, should the patient need a line of credit to pay for prescriptions and so forth.

Homeland Security has already put the technology in place, preparing for the use of biometrics in the near future. In other words, one chip that can either be inserted in card, your forehand or forehead will enable the government to know everything about you...so if you think the NSA spying was bad, wait until biometrics technology is implemented.

Below is a Homeland Security video demonstrating biometrics, that will eventually be incorporated into your health care records to protect you from identity theft. After all the government says your health is of great importance, and they're just looking out for you to make sure no one infringes upon your health care benefits. Watch:

It is simply a matter of time before this technology is implemented.
