Dallas brandishes bid to host 2016 Republican Convention

Newscast Media DALLAS—Dallas leaders met with the Republican National Committee
(RNC) today to share their vision to bring the 2016 Republican National Convention
back to the city. Thirty years ago, Dallas helped launch President Ronald Reagan’s
successful reelection victory at the 1984 Republican National Convention.

Today, Dallas is ready once again to host more than 40,000 visitors and offer a
unique and memorable experience as Republican delegates nominate their next
