THESE RESULTS MUST BE RESPECTED AND CONSIDERED FOR SO MANY REASONS, AMONG THEM I CAN BRIEFLY STATE A FEW. We deserve the right to vote for the president and to have representatives in Congress because our military men have served with honor & courage for decades at the different USA wars. They have bravely defended our nation's democracy with their hearts & strength. Thousands have lost their valuable lives or their health, my husband was one, defending the US country. Thousands continue active at the military service inland & in different countries of the world. Hundreds of our men & women have serve your country as distinguished professionals in science, in medicine, in politics, in engineering, in law, in business, as actors or actresses, at NASA, in education, as simple workers in different industries. All of them have helped and contributed in the development the economy of our glorious country of the USA. We have paid taxes directly or indirectly when buying food, goods & services from your country or in your country. We have paid the Social Security, and we don't get the same benefits from it as the residents in homeland. Sometimes we don't have the same rights to buy some goods from your country, for we are sometimes treated as foreigners, and this merchandise is not delivered or higher taxes are imposed. The same thing happens with our university students when they apply to study at your country. They are treated as foreigners. In my own case, I consider that I deserve to enjoy a 1st class citizenship as any other US American because I have personally worked hard all my life being loyal to your country in many ways, specially by teaching this beautiful universal language, English, for 32 yrs to university students in my own country, PR at IAU, one of the most outstanding university here. I also worked 1 yr as a bilingual teacher in Hartford, Connecticut. We want to enjoy statehood with all the rights and corresponding responsibilities.
