Role of women serving in the military continues to evolve

Newscast Media KABUL—Since the American Revolution, women have played an integral role in military operations. From caring for the injured and sick to picking up arms when needed, women have demonstrated that when it comes to defending your country, gender doesn’t matter.

With the repeal of the Direct Combat Exclusion Rule, women have virtually unlimited opportunities in today’s military. Watch video:
