Countrywide customers to receive settlement for ID theft

Countrywide

Newscast Media — LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Millions of customers left at high risk for identity theft and security breach will receive a settlement from Countrywide Financial Corp. that has received final approval from a federal judge.

According to the settlement, Bank of America which now owns Countrywide will provide free credit monitoring for up to 17 million people whose financial information was exposed. That group includes anyone who obtained a mortgage and anyone who used Countrywide to service a mortgage before July 1, 2008. Victims who can prove that they lost something of value and that the theft emanated for the Countywide breach, could be reimbursed up to $50,000 for each time their identity was stolen.

U.S. District Judge Thomas B. Russell of Paducah, who oversaw more than three-dozen lawsuits related to the security breach, granted class-action status to the lawsuit and gave final approval of the settlement Monday.

Russell wrote in his 21-page ruling that the settlement provides immediate relief for possible identity theft victims — relief that would likely have been delayed as appeals wound through the courts.

“This settlement provides safeguards that would not otherwise be available to millions of people, at a time when such measures are needed most,” Russell wrote.

Shirley Norton, a spokeswoman for Bank of America, said the company denies all allegations of wrongdoing or liability in the case.

“We settled because we believe it is in the bank’s best interest to settle the suit and avoid the additional expense and uncertainty of further litigation,” Norton said.

Plaintiffs attorneys will receive $3.5 million in fees for their work. Attorneys for the plaintiffs say Countrywide Financial had all their clients’ financial information including mortgage information, credit card, and Social Security numbers and birth dates.

The lawsuits stem from the arrest of Rene Rebollo Jr., of Pasadena, Calif., a former senior analyst for Countrywide, and Wahid Siddiqi, of Thousand Oaks, Calif. Federal investigators said Rebollo used a flash drive to download data from about 20,000 customers a week for two years from 2006 through August 2008.

Rebollo then sold the information to Siddiqi for $500 and earned a combined $50,000, federal investigators said. Siddiqi pleaded guilty in 2009 to 10 counts of fraud and admitted to selling the information to third parties, including an undercover FBI agent.

Countrywide has said that it worked closely with the FBI and federal investigators and that the security breach does not appear to have resulted in anyone’s identities being stolen.

Atlantic – Caribbean Sea – Gulf of Mexico Tropical Depression Forms

Tropical Depression Forming

Newscast Media MIAMI —The National Hurricane Center has issued an alert that a depression far out around the Carribean Sea and Atlantic was evolving into tropical storm strength, and would probably be one by Monday night or Tuesday with maximum sustained winds near 35 mph (55 kph).

Early forecasts put it back on track off the U.S. Atlantic seaboard rather than into the Gulf of Mexico. Dennis Feltgen with the center said conditions over the next five days are not favorable for the depression to develop into a full-blown hurricane. Feltgen said the forecast five-day track keeps the storm on the Atlantic side of the nation’s coast but that it was unclear yet where, if anywhere, it might come ashore.

“At this point, we don’t see any direct impacts on the Gulf of Mexico,” Feltgen said.

Motorists Should Expect Lower Gas Prices By Labor Day

At the pump

Newscast Media –As school buses start rolling through neighborhoods across the country, motorists should expect to see the price of gas fall by Labor Day. Gasoline demand will wane as families wrap up their vacations students go back to school, and experts predict that this will cause price to drop up to 15 cents a gallon around Labor Day, unless there is a sudden increase in oil prices and investors’ confidence in the global economy.

According to the AAA, Wright Express and Oil Price Information Service, the average retail price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline was $2.724, which is still 10 cents more than it was a year.

The cheapest gas can be found in Texas and parts of the South and the Midwest, while motorists on the West Coast are paying the highest amount averaging between $2.856 and $3.544 per gallon.

“Over the past weeks, oil prices have dropped about $7 a barrel, but the issue at play is whether the price drop is temporary or whether it signifies a trend,” said Tom Kloza chief oil analyst at Oil Price Information Service.

Even along the West Coast, where prices are among the highest in the country, Kloza suspects motorists could find gas below $3 a gallon in some areas. http://newscastmedia.com/labordaygas.htm

VIDEO: Jennifer Aniston Fires Back, Says Bill O’Reilly Insulting Women

Newscast Media — Actress Jennifer Aniston stars who stars in a new movie “The Switch,” a comedy about artificial insemination, has drawn criticism from FOX’s Bill O’Reilly. At a Los Angeles press conference last week promoting the movie, Aniston said “women are realizing more and more that you don’t have to settle, they don’t have to fiddle with a man to have that child.”

O’Reilly slammed Aniston for “throwing a message out to 12-year olds and 13-year olds that hey, you don’t
need a guy, you don’t need a dad,”adding, “that’s destructive to our society.” Today on ABC’s Good Morning America with George Stephanopoulos, Aniston fired back at O’Reilly for “insulting women”:

STEPHANOPOULOS: But usually you don’t respond to this kind of
thing, why did you decide to respond?

ANISTON: I just felt it was .. it needed, it was begging for a
response. It was just an unfair statement that he made against me.
And you know people say things about me all the time and you just
kinda go oh whatever. But his was not just about me, it was also
saying something, insulting women that are out there doing this
on there own. I was raised, my mother was single. You know? I
mean it doesn’t always start off that way but sort of life, it happens.

STEPHANOPOULOS: And you’re right, the movie is a celebration of
family.

ANISTON: It is! It’s family…home is where the heart is.

Trafficker of albinos in Tanzania sentenced to prison

Albinos

Newscast Media TANZANIA, Africa — Local media outlets in Tanzania have reported that a court in the region of Mwanza has convicted Nathan Mutei, a Kenyan, after he pleaded guilty to charges of human trafficking. Mutei has been sentenced to 17 years in prison in northwest Tanzania for trying to sell an albino man to witchdoctors.

“For the offense of human trafficking, you will go prison for nine years, or pay a fine of 80 million shillings ($53,209),” Angelous Rumisha, the judge, was quoted by the Mwananchi newspaper on Thursday as saying as he announced the sentence.

“For the second offense, you will go to prison for eight years”. Mutei, 28, was arrested earlier this week for trying to sell Robinson Mkwana, who is also a Kenyan, for $263,000.

Mkwana told the Reuters news agency that Mutei brought him from Kenya to the neighbouring country saying he would help him get a job.

“I am warning albinos to not accept people who are pretending they want to help you to secure a job, while they are looking to make some money by selling you,” he said.

Albino hunters kill their victims and then take their bodies to witchdoctors, who use the body parts to make potions, which they believe will bring them good luck and prosperity in life. Most of the killings have reportedly taken place in the remote northwest regions of Mwanza and Shinyanga.

Albinism is a rare congenital disorder in which people lack pigment in their skin, hair and eyes. There are around 170,000 albinos living in Tanzania. A Tanzanian albino rights group applauded the court’s judgment, but called for tougher punishment for offenders.

“We are happy with the quick conclusion of the trial, because these cases have been dragging on for too long,” Zihada Ali Msembo, the secretary general of the Tanzania Albino Society, said.

“However, we feel that nine years in jail is such a lenient sentence. This man should have been sentenced to life in prison because he knew very well that this poor albino he was trying to sell would have been butchered.” http://newscastmedia.com/albinos.htm

Obama Implores GOP To Back Small Business Bill In September

Small business loans

Newscast Media — Barack Obama continues to criticize his Republican opponents for blocking legislation that he said would make it easier for small businesses to get loans.

In the midst of a three-day, cross-country trip to defend his economic policies and raise money for Democratic candidates facing re-election races in November, Obama said opponents are blocking the measure for political purposes. He called on the Senate to take action when it returns to work in September.

The financial crisis has dried up credit for small businesses, which are responsible for most hiring in the U.S., and they need help, he said.

“We’ve all got a stake in helping our small businesses succeed,” Obama said after a discussion with business owners at the Grand Central Bakery & Café in Seattle. “Our economic recovery depends on it.”

The legislation Obama is promoting would ease the terms for loans guaranteed by the Small Business Administration, providing $12 billion in tax breaks and issuing grants to states to provide business loans.

It would also provide $30 billion to banks with less than $10 billion in assets to encourage lending to small businesses. The cost of paying back those capital infusions would decline based on the level of small-business lending by the bank. The aid would spur $300 billion in lending, according to the administration.

The legislation was faulted by Republicans such as Senator Richard Shelby of Alabama for being a government rescue similar to the $700 billion bank bailout of 2008. The program might induce banks to make risky loans, critics said. It was blocked by Republicans before the Senate recessed for August.

Auto suppliers, community banks and franchise owners banded together to push for the provision to boost lending, saying it is crucial to letting them expand and hire new employees. Democratic leaders will try to get the bill passed when lawmakers return to Washington in September. http://newscastmedia.com/loans.htm

May-December Cougar Relationships More Of A Myth Study Says

Study shows women prefer older men, while men prefer younger women

Newscast Media –When we think of cougars, names like Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Collins or Demi Moore come to mind. However, a study of online dating, by the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC), found men and women are still rather traditional when it comes to searching for their ideal partner. Women generally seek an older and, therefore hopefully, wealthier man, according to the UWIC study. Men, on the other hand, desire a young and attractive female, and often prefer a much younger partner as they themselves age.

The problem women find when they are with younger men is that these men aren’t yet established in life, and high quality women tend to gravitate toward men who demonstrate high value. When men are in their twenties and thirties, they really haven’t acquired much in life, however, men in their late forties, fifties and sixties, have paid their dues and have accumulated a few assets and wealth, which raises their status in the eyes of women. A younger man may make a woman feel beautiful, or even take her out to dinner using his credit card, but the older guy who pays in cash and appears more of a father figure will eventually displace the young cat, who may be looking for not just a girlfriend, but a mother figure.

The most important quality that women look for in men are “manly” men. Most younger men today are raised to be effeminate or androgynous, the word is “metrosexual” since that is what society promotes. Men often apologize for being manly, and some men even ask their wives for permission just to step out of the house. This is something that contradicts the nature of courtship since women tend to desire men who can take charge of pretty much any situation. It’s not unusual for a couple to go to a restaurant and when the menu arrives, the woman asks the guy what he will eat and he answers, “I’ll eat what ever you choose.”

A display like that indicates to the woman the man she is with is a wuss. As for older men, they tend to gravitate toward younger women. The qualities that men look for in women are waist-to-hip ratio, the shape of the eyes, the skin tone, because these attributes symbolize fertility. Men are genetically programmed to want to pass on their genes, and women understand this very well that’s why they spend hours in the morning putting on make-up to look young and attractive in the eyes of men. If you look at the concept of lipstick, its purpose is to fool men into believing blood is actually flowing through the lips of a woman. The same applies to blush that women rub against their cheeks. They do this because they know life is in the blood and men are attracted to women who are full of life and are capable of reproducing.

Now there are men who are “naturals” and are about three percent of the male population. These men understand women. They never hit on women, instead let the women chase them. Women find these men attractive because they present a challenge to women. This segment of men are the only exception to the rule. These men have no problem turning down a beautiful women for a date, because they will be busy folding their socks in the drawer, or ironing their ties. When they get a woman’s number, they don’t call her right away like the AFC (Average Frustrated Chump), these free flowing naturals will call after about five days.

Every guy knows a woman whom he was interested in, but the woman was interested in some other guy who could care less about her. You may also know a woman who broke up with a guy because she needed “space” only to bump into her two weeks later, she was holding hands with the ex-boyfriend she swore she hated and was the scum of the earth. How do you think that happened? You see what women want, is different from what women respond to, and every woman responds to a challenge.

Psychologist Dr Michael Dunn of UWIC’s Cardiff School of Health Sciences led a study which involved analyzing the age preferences of 22,000 men and women using online dating sites across 14 countries and two religious groups.”A critically important consideration for advertisers on online dating sites appears to be the age of a potential partner,” Dunn said in a statement.

He said it was a commonly held assumption that with the advent of female financial independence, women were now free to target men of any age group, as securing financial security from older, wealthier males was no longer a priority. Dunn said a strikingly different pattern of age preferences was evident in men. Younger men, aged 20 to 25, either targeted females their own age or marginally younger. But as males aged, they clearly expressed a preference for women increasingly younger than themselves, with this pattern also being cross-culturally consistent.

“These findings are clearly supportive of evolutionary theory,” Dunn added. “A wide variety of evidence has shown that women, when considering a potential long-term partner, focus more than males on cues indicative of wealth and status and these logically accumulate with age. “Males conversely focus more intently on physical attractiveness cues and these are clearly correlated with the years of maximum fertility.”

Feds Indict Roger Clemens For Perjury

Roger Clemens

Newscast Media HOUSTON, TX –Roger Clemens was indicted by federal authorities on Thursday on charges of making false statements to Congress about his use of performance-enhancing drugs. An indictment was returned to U.S. Magistrate Judge Deborah A. Robinson of the District at a brief hearing shortly after 1:30 p.m.

In February 2008, Clemens, the seven-time Cy Young Award winner who pitched for the Red Sox, Blue Jays, Yankees and Astros, and Brian McNamee, his former trainer, contradicted one another in testimony before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform about whether Clemens had used banned substances.

Clemens and his defense team have long challenged McNamee’s credibility, saying the former trainer has lied about the pitcher’s alleged drug use. They also have said that McNamee may have cooked up the evidence.

On Aug. 12, a federal appeals court in Houston refused to reinstate a defamation lawsuit Clemens filed against McNamee. In a 2 to 1 ruling, a panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals agreed with a Houston federal district judge’s 2009 dismissal of most of Clemens’s claims against McNamee.

The indictment charges Clemens with three counts of making false statements and two counts of perjury in connection with his February 2008 testimony before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. http://newscastmedia.com/roger-clemens.htm

Final U.S. Combat Brigade Withdraws From Iraq

4th Stryker brigade, 2nd Infantry Division

Newscast Media BAGHDAD Iraq — Early Thursday morning, the last U.S. combat brigade withdrew from Iraq, more than seven years after the US-led coalition invaded the country in a war that has claimed the lives of more than 4,000 US troops. The brigade left the country two weeks before an August 31 deadline for the end of Operation Iraqi Freedom pledged by Barack Obama, the US president, on taking office.

The soldier pictured above who wished to remain anonymous said, “It feels great. This marks the end of a year long mission in Iraq for our brigade, and also represents the end of seven years of war, in Operation Iraqi Freedom.”

He continued to say, “It means we finished a mission and I’m proud to know that our brigade was the last combat brigade in Iraq. We finished with honor, we finished with dignity, most importantly we left capacity with the Iraqi security forces so they can take the lead from here on out.”

Over the course of the week, soldiers from the 4th Stryker brigade, 2nd Infantry Division have driven hundreds of vehicles from Camp Victory near the Baghdad airport to Camp Virginia in Kuwait.

Despite the withdrawal, approximately 50,000 US troops will remain in the country in an advisory capacity, helping to train Iraqi forces in a new mission codenamed Operation New Dawn, which will run until the end of 2011.

The US state department spokesman, Philip Crowley, called the end of combat operations a “historic moment,” but stressed America’s long-term commitment to Iraq was unwavering.”We’re not ending our involvement in Iraq,” he told US broadcaster MSNBC.

“We will have important work to do. This is a transition. This is not the end of something. It’s a transition to something different. We have a long-term commitment to Iraq.”

The Iraqi military is using US equipment, which means security forces will need US trainers, technicians and links with the US military industrial complex in years to come. http://newscastmedia.com/missionaccomplished.htm

Travel restrictions to Cuba soon to be eased by U.S.

Travel to Cuba may soon be possible

Newscast Media HAVANA, Cuba–Congressional and Obama administration officials said The White House is preparing measures that would expand opportunities for Americans to travel to Cuba and send money there. The measures would make it easier for Americans to get U.S. government licenses for cultural, educational and sports exchanges, according to congressional aides briefed on the new policy. They would not end the longtime economic embargo or the ban on U.S. tourists visiting the island.

The Helms-Burton Act of 1996 and policies in the George W. Bush administration had restricted travel, however, the Obama administration is seeking to restore a policy from the Clinton administration that encouraged “people-to-people” contacts with residents of the Communist-ruled nation.

“These are not revolutionary,” one congressional staff member said of the changes. “They’re not going to cause political blowback, because we did all this stuff before.” Like other officials, the staffer spoke on the condition of anonymity because the new policy has not yet been announced.

Since the stricter regulations on travel took effect in 2004, U.S. outreach to the Cuban people has largely been channeled through official democracy programs. Those efforts have had limited results, in part because “the covert political nature of these programs has put at risk not only U.S. operatives, but also their beneficiaries” in Cuba, according to a recent report by the U.S.-Cuba Relations Project of the Brookings Institution. Andy Gomez, a University of Miami professor and a report author, said the expansion of people-to-people programs would come at a critical time, coinciding with a growth in civil-society groups, including a lively bloggers’ community, in economically strapped Cuba.

“The time is ripe for us to build bridges with the Cuban people,” he said. But Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), a prominent Cuban American legislator, said the timing was wrong. “Promoting travel and widespread remittances will give the regime a much-needed infusion of dollars that will only allow the Castro brothers to extend their reign of oppression and human rights violations,” he said in a statement.

Cuban authorities’ announcement last month that they would free 52 political prisoners has provided an opening for the new U.S. measures, analysts said, although the administration has been discussing the changes for months.

Blagojevich Found Guilty On One Count Mistrial Expected On 23g

Rod Blagojevich

Newscast Media — Former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich was found guilty on Tuesday by a federal jury, of lying to federal agents. The jury, however, was unable reach a unanimous verdict on 23 other corruption charges. The judge in the case said he intended to declare a msitial on the remaining counts.

Blagojevich, 53, was accused of trying to use his office for personal gain – including a bid to sell President Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat, and was also accused of attempted extortion. After the verdict was announced, US attorneys said the government planned to retry the case “as quickly as possible”.

Judge James B Zagel has set a hearing for 26 August to decide the timing of the retrial. The verdict came on the jury’s 14th day of deliberations. Blagojevich’s brother, Robert, is a co-defendant in the trial.

The one charge on which Blagojevich was found guilty was that he lied to federal agents when he said he did not track campaign contributions and that he kept a “firewall” between his political campaigns and his government work. The charge carries a sentence of up to five years in prison.Defense lawyers had maintained that Blagojevich’s talk was mere bluster and he had done nothing illegal.

Violent photos banned in Venezuela newspapers

Bloody murder

Newscast Media CARACAS, Venezuela — On Tuesday, a Venezuela court ordered newspapers to stop publishing images depicting blood, guns and other violent images and warned an opposition-aligned daily that could face a serious fine for publishing a photo of bodies in a morgue.

Venezuelan officials say the ruling aims to protect children and adolescents from violent images, but opponents call the move censorship and say it is motivated y a desire to control popular perceptions of crime in Venezuela, which has one of Latin America’s highest murder rates.

In its ruling, the court said it prohibited the publication of “images, information and publicity of any type that contains blood, guns, alarming messages or physical aggression images that incorporate warfare content and messages about killings and deaths that could alter the well being of children and adolescents.”

Publications that violate the order, he said, could be shut down. “They should come and put a censor here and tell us what cannot be published,” Otero quipped.

Otero suggested that El Nacional — one of the South American nation’s oldest newspapers — might defy the court order because the newspaper does not plan to change its editorial line or refrain from publishing photographs including violent content.

“This doesn’t have anything to do with …. protecting children and juveniles,” Otero said. “It’s political.” Last week, attorney general’s office said in a statement that would launch an investigation to determine of El Nacional broke the law by publishing the photograph.

Several other opposition-sided newspapers published the same photograph this week as a show of solidarity with El Nacional.

“There’s a terrible string of slayings in the country and that’s the issue at hand,” said Teodoro Petkoff, editor of the newspaper Tal Cual.

Violent crime is one of Venezuela’s most pressing problems, and Chavez foes are raising concerns ahead of legislative elections in September. http://newscastmedia.com/venezuela.htm

Federal appeals court blocks gay marriage

Federal appeals court ruling on gay marriage

Newscast Media –A three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of appeals trumped a lower court judge’s order that would have allowed county clerks to begin issuing marriage licenses to gay couple on Wednesday. The federal appeals court put gay weddings in California on hold indefinitely Monday while it considers the constitutionality of the state’s gay marriage ban.

Chief U.S. District Court Judge Vaughn Walker decided last week to allow gay marriages to go forward after ruling that the ban, known as Proposition 8, violated equal protection and due process rights of gays and lesbians guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution.

The Proposition 8 legal team quickly appealed Walker’s ruling in a case that many believe will end up before the Supreme Court. Lawyers for two same-sex couples had joined with California Attorney General Jerry Brown in urging the appeals court to allow the weddings, arguing that keeping the ban in place any longer would harm the civil rights of gays and lesbians.

The plaintiffs could now appeal the 9th Circuit decision to Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, who handles emergency motions for the high court Walker presided over a 13-day trial earlier this year that was the first in federal court to examine if states can prohibit gays from getting married without violating the constitutional guarantee of equality.

Supporters argued the ban was necessary to safeguard the traditional understanding of marriage and to encourage responsible childbearing.

HIV-positive Singer Sorry For Infecting Lovers Sexually

Nadja Benaissa

Newscast Media — German singer Nadja Benaissa, 28, of the girl band No Angels broke down at the opening of her trial in the German city of Darmstadt, and admitted to having unprotected sex with several partners without warning them she was HIV-positive.

“I am so sorry,” Ms Benaissa told the court. “When I was arrested I realized that the way that I had dealt with the illness had been wrong… I made a big mistake,” said Ms Benaissa, in a statement read to the court by her lawyer. No way did I want my partner to be infected.”

Benaissa faces a charge of grievous bodily harm for allegedly infecting one man. The charges carry a prison sentence ranging from six months to 10 years.

Nadja also claimed that she had been told by doctors that the risk of passing on the virus was “practically zero.” She also feared that if she admitted to her lovers that she had an infection, her confession “would have probably have meant the end for No Angels”, her lawyer, Oliver Wallasch told the court.

The infected victim said he learned that Ms Benaissa was HIV positive from her aunt, and immediately went to his doctor for a blood test. The man whose name remains withheld, told the singer in court, “You have created a lot of suffering in the world.”

The singer was arrested in Frankfurt last year shortly before she was due to perform a solo concert, and spent 10 days in custody. The girl band No Angels was formed in 2000 on the international TV show Popstars, before recording a series of hits and emerging as Germany’s most successful girl band. Ms Benaissa’s trial is expected to end later this month. http://newscastmedia.com/nadjabenaissa.htm

Rand Paul Hoax Story By GQ Is A Corporate Media Disinformation Campaign

Rand Paul

Newscast Media — GQ magazine has proven itself to be a tool for the corporate media by publishing false allegations and deceiving the public with their Rand Paul hoax story. This kind of unprofessional journalism is the reason why many readers and viewers have a distrust for the media. GQ editors published a story this week claiming that Rand Paul kidnapped a nameless woman and forced her to get high on drugs. It turns out, the whole hit piece was a hoax, and I would be surprised if GQ doesn’t get sued by the Rand Paul camp.

In a feature, GQ has revealed that they were lying to their readers and the whole thing was a giant hoax. Perhaps the magazine has so much contempt for its readers it doesn’t think they are capable of doing their own research. The conservative politician was supposedly a member of a secret society called the NoZe Brotherhood while an undergraduate at Baylor University. The group participated in a variety of pranks on university administration. As a member of the group, the news source claimed, he once kidnapped a female member of the university swim team and forced her to do drugs.

In the GQ article, the nameless woman was quoted: “They told me their god was ‘Aqua Buddha’ and that I needed to bow down and worship him … they blindfolded me and made me bow down to ‘Aqua Buddha’ in the creek. I had to say, ‘I worship you Aqua Buddha, I worship you.”

Now the nameless woman says that while the odd things did occur, she apparently was never kidnapped in the legal sense of the term.

“The whole thing has been blown out of proportion … they didn’t force me, they didn’t make me. They were creating this drama: ‘We’re messing with you,” the woman told the Washington Post.

Paul’s campaign spokesperson Jesse Benton wrote in an email, “It is satisfying to see the libelous and grossly irresponsible charges of kidnapping completely shot down. It remains puzzling to us why the drive-by media continues to focus on an alleged 30 year old teenage prank when our nation faces high unemployment, a thirteen trillion dollar debt and are threatened with a Cap and Trade national energy tax.”

The woman says she doesn’t want her name in print because she’s a clinical psychologist who works with former members of the military, some of whom are Tea Partyers, and fears that complicating Paul’s Senate run could put her in danger, even though she didn’t hesitate to put Paul’s campaign in danger.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger Goes Nuts – Says “Nigger” On Air 11 Times

Newscast Media — Media Matters obtained the audio where Dr. Laura Schlessinger says the word “nigger” 11 times to a caller. Schlessinger wrapped up by telling the caller she had a “chip on her shoulder.” Below is the entire transcrpit:

SCHLESSINGER: Jade, welcome to the program.

CALLER: Hi, Dr. Laura.

SCHLESSINGER: Hi.

CALLER: I’m having an issue with my husband where I’m starting to
grow very resentful of him. I’m black, and he’s white. We’ve been
around some of his friends and family members who start making
racist comments as if I’m not there or if I’m not black. And my
husband ignores those comments, and it hurts my feelings. And he
acts like –

SCHLESSINGER: Well, can you give me an example of a racist
comment? ‘Cause sometimes people are hypersensitive. So tell me
what’s — give me two good examples of racist comments.

CALLER: OK. Last night — good example — we had a neighbor come
over, and this neighbor — when every time he comes over, it’s
always a black comment. It’s, “Oh, well, how do you black people like
doing this?” And, “Do black people really like doing that?” And for a
long time, I would ignore it. But last night, I got to the point where it

SCHLESSINGER: I don’t think that’s racist.

CALLER: Well, the stereotype –

SCHLESSINGER: I don’t think that’s racist. No, I think that —

CALLER: [unintelligible]

SCHLESSINGER: No, no, no. I think that’s — well, listen, without
giving much thought, a lot of blacks voted for Obama simply ’cause
he was half-black. Didn’t matter what he was gonna do in office, it
was a black thing. You gotta know that. That’s not a surprise. Not
everything that somebody says — we had friends over the other
day; we got about 35 people here — the guys who were gonna start
playing basketball. I was going to go out and play basketball. My
bodyguard and my dear friend is a black man. And I said, “White men
can’t jump; I want you on my team.” That was racist? That was
funny.

CALLER: How about the N-word? So, the N-word’s been thrown
around –

SCHLESSINGER: Black guys use it all the time. Turn on HBO, listen to
a black comic, and all you hear is nigger, nigger, nigger.

CALLER: That isn’t –

SCHLESSINGER: I don’t get it. If anybody without enough melanin
says it, it’s a horrible thing; but when black people say it, it’s
affectionate. It’s very confusing. Don’t hang up, I want to talk to you
some more. Don’t go away.
I’m Dr. Laura Schlessinger. I’ll be right back.

SCHLESSINGER: I’m Dr. Laura Schlessinger, talking to Jade. What did
you think about during the break, by the way?

CALLER: I was a little caught back by the N-word that you spewed
out, I have to be honest with you. But my point is, race relations —

SCHLESSINGER: Oh, then I guess you don’t watch HBO or listen to
any black comedians.

CALLER: But that doesn’t make it right. I mean, race is a
[unintelligible] –

SCHLESSINGER: My dear, my dear –

CALLER: — since Obama’s been in office –

SCHLESSINGER: — the point I’m trying to make –

CALLER: — racism has come to another level that’s unacceptable.

SCHLESSINGER: Yeah. We’ve got a black man as president, and we
have more complaining about racism than ever. I mean, I think that’s
hilarious.

CALLER: But I think, honestly, because there’s more white people
afraid of a black man taking over the nation.

SCHLESSINGER: They’re afraid.

CALLER: If you want to be honest about it [unintelligible]

SCHLESSINGER: Dear, they voted him in. Only 12 percent of the
population’s black. Whites voted him in.

CALLER: It was the younger generation that did it. It wasn’t the older
white people who did it.

SCHLESSINGER: Oh, OK.

CALLER: It was the younger generation –

SCHLESSINGER: All right. All right.

CALLER: — that did it.

SCHLESSINGER: Chip on your shoulder. I can’t do much about that.

CALLER: It’s not like that.

SCHLESSINGER: Yeah. I think you have too much sensitivity –

CALLER: So it’s OK to say “nigger”?

SCHLESSINGER: — and not enough sense of humor.

CALLER: It’s OK to say that word?

SCHLESSINGER: It depends how it’s said.

CALLER: Is it OK to say that word? Is it ever OK to say that word?

SCHLESSINGER: It’s — it depends how it’s said. Black guys talking to
each other seem to think it’s OK.

CALLER: But you’re not black. They’re not black. My husband is
white.

SCHLESSINGER: Oh, I see. So, a word is restricted to race. Got it.
Can’t do much about that.

CALLER: I can’t believe someone like you is on the radio spewing out
the “nigger” word, and I hope everybody heard it.

SCHLESSINGER: I didn’t spew out the “nigger” word.

CALLER: You said, “Nigger, nigger, nigger.”

SCHLESSINGER: Right, I said that’s what you hear.

CALLER: Everybody heard it.

SCHLESSINGER: Yes, they did.

CALLER: I hope everybody heard it.

SCHLESSINGER: They did, and I’ll say it again –

CALLER: So what makes it OK for you to say the word?

SCHLESSINGER: — nigger, nigger, nigger is what you hear on HB –

CALLER: So what makes it –

SCHLESSINGER: Why don’t you let me finish a sentence?

CALLER: OK.

SCHLESSINGER: Don’t take things out of context. Don’t double N —
NAACP me. Tape the —

CALLER: I know what the NAACP –

SCHLESSINGER: Leave them in context.

CALLER: I know what the N-word means and I know it came from a
white person. And I know the white person made it bad.

SCHLESSINGER: All right. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Can’t have this argument. You know what? If you’re that hypersensitive about color and don’t have a sense of humor, don’t marry out of your race. If you’re going to marry out of your race, people are going to say, “OK, what do blacks think? What do whites think? What do Jews think? What do Catholics think?”

Of course there isn’t a one-think per se. But in general there’s “think.” And what I just heard from Jade is a lot of what I hear from black-think — and it’s really distressting [sic] and disturbing. And to put it in its context, she said the N-word, and I said, on HBO, listening to black comics, you hear “nigger, nigger, nigger.” I didn’t call anybody a nigger. Nice try, Jade. Actually, sucky try.

Need a sense of humor, sense of humor — and answer the question. When somebody says, “What do blacks think?” say, “This is what I think. This is what I read that if you take a poll the majority of blacks think this.” Answer the question and discuss the issue. It’s like we can’t discuss anything without saying there’s -isms?
We have to be able to discuss these things. We’re people — goodness gracious me. Ah — hypersensitivity, OK, which is being bred by black activists. I really thought that once we had a black president, the attempt to demonize whites hating blacks would stop, but it seems to have grown, and I don’t get it. Yes, I do. It’s all about power. I do get it. It’s all about power and that’s sad because what should be in power is not power or righteousness to do good –that should be the greatest power.

Abusive Luciferian and Satanic Cults Thrive In The Shadows Of Society

Baphomet

Newscast Media — The symbolism, blood drinking, human sacrifices and secret gestures are part of the Luciferian and satanic culture that continues to thrive in the shadows. Friday the 13th is a very big day for Luciferians. The satan worshipping depictions in Hollywood movies serve as a blueprint and guide to those who are trapped in the occult.

For Laura, who was born into such a world in the Muenster region in western Germany, it’s a bit closer to reality. She’s managed to escape the cult, but it was a long, painful process.

“My father was well respected in the sect and he started training me at a young age to do what the circle wanted,” she explained. “That I allow everything to be done with me, that I wouldn’t cry or scream or respond to the pain, and that I would not say anything to anyone outside the group. We were supposed to do what the higher power wanted.”

Luciferians and satanists have a mystical belief that success in life can only be achieved by engaging in certain rituals and sacrificial ceremonies that glorify Lucifer. The name Lucifer was actually given to satan before he became an unemployed cherub. Even though he is not omnipresent like God, he has his generals who do his bidding for him. These are referred to as demons. Demons are regional spirits that are capable of possessing people only after they are given permission, whether knowingly or unknowingly.

Demonic spirits get entry into humans in different ways. One of the ways people unknowingly give these spirits permission is by playing with Ouija boards or Tarrot cards. Another way is by having palm readings or psychic visits. These spirits can also enter by the type of movies of music one listens to. There are times when we’ve heard of people getting arrested for murder, and they say that they were inspired by a certain song, or watching a certain movie scene, thereafter these people went on a crime spree. The voice you listen to the most will have the dominant effect upon you. Examples:

* Robert John Bardo claims he was fueled by the song “Exit” by U2, when he
decided to murder Rebecca Schaeffer.

* The parents of Ray Belknap and James Vance sued over “backwards
messages” of Judas Priest, “Better By You, Better Than Me” – that
supposedly urged the suicide (Belknap) and suicide attempt (Vance).

* Charles Manson claims he was inspired by the Beatles song “Hetler Skelter”
in which he and the Family were involved in the Tate-LaBianca murders.

* Daniel Gill, 14, and Robert Fuller, 15, from North Yorkshire, were found
guilty on October 22, 1999 of the attempted murder of Ashley Murray.
They claim they were inspired by the movie “Scream”. They stabbed Murray
eighteen times and left him to die, but a day and a half later a man walking
his dog found him, and he recovered.

Several philosophers and writers like Voltaire, have considered it necessary for people to study Demonology in order to know the devil’s modus operandi.

For Laura, the higher power used to be Satan, and she said she was forced to accept pain, torture and rape in his name. But it also meant that she had to lead to parallel life. To the outside world, she presented herself as a normal schoolgirl; in the other, secret world, she was a servant at black masses and Satanic rituals.

“I was expected to be completely obedient to men,” she said. “When I was supposed to prostitute myself, then I was told that the higher power wanted the circle to have money.”

The money went straight into the group’s coffers, and it was the group who chose the clients. Brigitte Hahn, the sect commissioner for the Catholic Diocese of Muenster, agreed. She said 30 victims of such Satanic cults have sought help from her office. Some of the women described black masses, which also included ritualistic abortions and even murder.

“The women say they are impregnated during special ceremonies,” Hahn said. “Then there are rituals for delivering the babies and sacrificing them. The pregnancies are kept secret, the babies are born but disappear.”

It’s not just average people who practice these sorts of rituals. Some of the most powerful politicians, celebrities and business people are part of the occult. They identify each other with secret handshakes or hand gestures. Most Luciferians and satanists use mind-control techniques to manipulate their victims who in essence become mind-controlled slaves.

One of the most common techniques is one called MK Ultra that was invented by the CIA, documents of which have since been de-classified. Project MKULTRA, or MK-ULTRA, was the code name for a covert, illegal CIA human research program, run by the Office of Scientific Intelligence. This official U.S. government program began in the early 1950s, continuing at least through the late 1960s, and it used U.S. and Canadian citizens as its test subjects.

There is a lot of hypnosis and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) involved in the process of hijacking and controlling the victims’ minds. Powerful people use a lot of NLP during their speeches to put their audiences in a trance-like state where unsuspecting audience members believe everything they are told and promised. It isn’t until later on in the game that these victims develop “buyers remorse” and realize they’ve been had, but most of the time it is too late for them to be deprogrammed, so they end up living in a perpetual state of submission and accept things the way they are.

In the music industry, a lot of this symbolism is blatant and visible in the videos, as a way to pay homage to Lucifer whom some successful artists actually believe is responsible for their success. The main object of worship is presented in form of a goat named Baphoment

Symbolism

The two pointed fingers represent the horns of the Baphomet the goat, whom Luciferians worship. These are Satanic induction hand signs for mind-controlled slaves. The Horned Hand, or “Cornuto”, represents the devil satan. The horned goat, goat of Mendes, Baphomet, god of the witches, the scapegoat, is the Satanists’ way of mocking Jesus the “Lamb” who died for sinners.

As you can see Baphomet is almost always presented in form of a pentagram (A star with five points.) Satanists use the pentagram that has two points up, while pagans use a pentagram with one point up. The one above is used by satanists since it has two points up. This is one of the most potent symbols used in the occult and can also be seen on clothing, jewelry and other fashionable so-called accessories.

Clothing and accessories with pentagrams

People cannot remain silent about the phenomenon of Satanism, said religion expert Herrmann-Pfandt, who investigates what occurs such groups.

“It’s really about transcendental experiences – and blood often plays a major role,” she said. “Some people say it intensifies the experience, and it seems to put them in a state of arousal. And the cults play on that.”

Since most victims are traumatized and have mental disorders, it is hard for them to exit the occult by themselves, and often times requires an authority figure outside of the occult to intervene.

Senate candidate Alvin Greene indicted on two charges, including pornography

Alvin Greene

Newscast Media COLUMBIA, S.C. – Alvin Greene, the Democratic Senate candidate was indicted Friday on two charge, including a felony charge of showing pornography to a teenage student in a South Carolina college computer lab.

Democrats were surprised by Greene’s June primary win. His arrest in November was first reported by The Associated Press the day after he won the nomination. Allegations indicate that Greene approached a student in a University of South Carolina computer lab, showed her obscene photos online, then talked about going to her dorm room.

A Richland County grand jury indicted Greene, 32, for disseminating, procuring or promoting obscenity — a felony — as well as a misdemeanor charge of communicating obscene materials to a person without consent. If convicted, Greene could face up to three years for the misdemeanor or up to five years for the felony.

Greene has said he’s staying in the race. In the months since his victory, Greene has given a series of awkward interviews to reporters clamoring for more information on the man who lives in Manning with his ailing father. Earlier this summer, the state Democratic Party upheld his nomination, denying a challenge filed by Rawl alleging voting abnormalities.

State police also cleared Greene of any impropriety involving his $10,440 filing fee. Greene has said he saved up his military pay for two years, a claim police said was backed up by his bank records.
